MBs Dealings

Hello Everyone,

I know in my last post I said that I was not going to sell my land, but I decided to go ahead to do that anyway. I think it was a wise decision, due to the bad economy.
MBs Dealings is now located here: http://slurl.com/secondlife/Ghamb/204/199/101/
This move will help in the process of creating textures by allowing me to have more money to spend on textures.

I will be posting a little later, my new Second Life products. I will be providing the name, link to the SL Exchange Store(http://www.xstreetsl.com/modules.php?name=Marketplace&MerchantID=42918), and a description of the item on Second Links(http://secondlinks.890m.com) and in my blogs, but I will not be providing a link to my OnRez Store(http://shop.onrez.com/Mikemmax_Benford). I hope this will provide a easier way of checking out MBs Dealings(Mikemmax Benford) products.

Thanks Everyone,

Mikemmax

My Experiences In Second Life

Hello Everyone,

Hope everyone is enjoying the possibilities of Second Life. I know I am,:) I have been thinking/working on few things in Second Life. First Off!

I now have a radio station, called MBs Dealings Radio. You can listen by either going to MBs Dealings in SL at: http://slurl.com/secondlife/webwinder/17/50/58/. Or you can visit my website Second Links: http://secondlinks.890m.com/ and click on the link on the left side, named: MBs Dealings Radio. It will open in Winamp and start playing. If MBs Dealings Radio page says Server is currently down, means my computer is off, the radio station will be up everyday from 10:00A.M. to 12:00A.M. PDT(Pacific Daylight Time). If the radio station is going to be down, I will mention it here, in case I need to work on my computer, for updates, upgrades, etc.

I will be playing anything to everything. Here are some of the genres that I will be playing, Alternative, Blues, Comedy, Country, Dance, ElectronicDance, FOLK, Game SoundTracks, HIP HOP, My Music, New Age, Rap, RBSoulUrban, RockandPop. If there is anything you would like to hear, there will be a suggestion drop box to make a suggestion, located In-World in Stone Head Club: http://slurl.com/secondlife/webwinder/23/40/50/

I will be also setting up times that the different genres play, and I will be posting it In-World at MBs Dealings and in here.

I have added MBs Dealings Radio Station in the jukebox in Stone Head Club.

I will be posting my new products here, so everyone can find my new products a little bit better. I will be posting the name, description, price, how many prims, and the URL of the where you can find the product. Hope this helps everyone. :)

What's Been Happening!

Hello Everyone,

Sorry its been so long since I posted, but there has been a lot of things that I have been doing in SL and RL.

Well, first off I decided not to sell my land in Second Life, due to land prices are low. So, I put everything back and added some new items to MBs Dealings, you can visit here: http://slurl.com/secondlife/webwinder/17/50/58/
I have also added some new items in my vendors and in my stores. SL Exchange: http://www.slexchange.com/modules.php?name=Marketplace&MerchantID=42918

I have also completed my flag project, except for tweaking some of flags textures, because of alignment reasons. In the future I might be adding some custom textured flags.

As most of you, already know that FIM City has closed the vendor stores there. The Sim turned into a garden store, as far as I know. So, I no longer have a store there.

As soon as I unclutter my desk, :) I will get around to adding a new navigation design to Second Links Links page, just like Public links is on Seek N Link, which can be found here: http://seeknlink.890m.com/Links/. Hope everyone like the new sytle.

I haven't been doing much in Second Life, due to some of the projects above, plus other projects. Just camping and creating objects to sell, so I can make my $15 U.S., which I pay Linden. Hopefully one day I will make enough, where I don't have to camp, and spend more time doing other things in second life that I enjoy. Other then camping Second life is a really relaxing, and an enjoyable game.

Second Life - New Year - Catch Up

Hello Everyone,

Its been way too long since I posted, but I am back and ready to bring everyone up to date with whats been going on lately since last post.
Today is March 7, 2008, and we will go back and talk about whats been happening. I have been busy in Second Life working on creating a business in Second Life. I had to save up a lot of lindens(which is Second Life's fictional money) to buy my first land, took about a month, camping.
When I finally had enough Lindens, I first looked around for the best price and area that I could afford, since I already pay Linden $10 U.S. for membership, plus tier(piece of land that has maintenance fees(fees depends on size of land) price, I have to watch how big of land I buy. I finally decided to buy a 1024 sq.m and then my monthly payment to Linden would be $15 U.S. I have bought this land back in June, 2007. I have setup a business called MBs Dealings, which has a Club, Shops, I also setup vendor rental spots, there to. Its been great being in that same spot all this time, but its time to expand. MBs Dealings is selling its 1024 Sq.m land, comes with a total of 234 prims without objects, with the objects, it has 102 available, comes with Club, Shop, and house in the sky, use elevator to see it. No Convenant! Questions IM me in Second Life "Mikemmax Benford".
Lately I have been busy with making flag objects, creating objects to look like waving flags, of countries all over the world, I have also done some custom flags too. I have a Store in-world at FIM City, in the Tempo region. If anyone care to take a peek... I have also been working on my website - Second Links, at : http://www.secondlinks.110mb.com, or check out my other website at : http://www.seeknlink.byethost13.com, and if anyone is wondering where I got the name, I was the one that created/owned http://www.seeknlink.com until, I couldn't afford it anymore, so I lost my .com. but I am back up with the Thanks to 110mb.com, free website services. I came up with Seek N Link name, because I was into links, had a lot of bookmarks(links), and just really wanted a reference to all the bookmarks I had collected. I created Second Links, because of the similar reason, is because I started getting into Second Life and started collecting bookmarks(links), and wanted a reference, and I put them online, so everyone can see my bookmarks(links), and visit the sites.
After I get all these flag textures and Pictures, uploaded to Second Life, I will be putting all the countries flags in the vendors in my store at FIM in Tempo. After this expansion of MBs Dealings, I will be providing more vendor rental spots, plus Stone Head Club will be back with the Jukebox, providing over 50 stations. If you would like to be informed about MBs Dealings or Stone Head Club, please go into Second Life and Search for MB Dealings Group, or Stone Head Club Group. Also way in the future we will be providing Stone Head Club Radio Station, and have contests, so people can earn some lindens. We will also have other things to mention, but coming later, after I have got everything going again and running smoothly.

Ok time for the latest Population Stats:

Population:

Residents Logged-In During Last 7 Days 484,731
Residents Logged-In During Last 14 Days 631,024
Residents Logged-In During Last 30 Days 899,500
Residents Logged-In During Last 60 Days 1,347,499
Total Residents 12,743,356

Well Second life has sure did grow since the last time I posted, just hope Second Life keeps up the Good Work.

Have Fun everyone,

Mikemmax Benford

Second Life is Booming

Hello Everyone

There are 4,869,120 total residents, right now. On March 21, 2007. When I started, was just below 2,000,000 mark. Residents logged-in during the last 30 days is: 1,093,439, and Residents logged-in during the last 7 days is: 435,120. Just imagine all those people coming together on computers all around the world helping one another with all sorts of problems, ranging from Second Life events to real life events. People in Second Life can leisure around, build some objects, or some scripts, talk, explore the enormous land that the great Lindens have provided us, take some classes on the many, and many campuses around Second Life, gamble, visit The World Stock Exchange, go horse, drag, or stockcar racing, trains that you can ride, go skydiving, go Skiing and ride the ski lift on The Weather Channel Island, discover real life famous places, some include The Rain Forest, Paris, and New York. Everything you see, except the ground(earth) in Second Life people have constructed. Everytime, I turn around there is something new. It is just amazing what some people have came up with and constructed. Does this mean I don't have to leave the house. LOL (Laugh Out Loud)

It sure is nice to find a game, or business tool that provide all this, plus more, that does not have a time limit, or restrictions, or cost money.

My Experiences in Second Life #2

Hello to all Second Lifers'. This is my second blog. If you didn't catch my first blog, my name is Mikemmax Benford. If you want some more info about this blog please read my first blog, ty. In the short period of time that I've been playing, I have made a ring, wishing well, a car, lamp shade, a blue donation box, and have made some graphics, and put them up for sale on my land. Also I have built 2 houses, and owned 2 512 sq.m. pieces of land.

Most of these items I have made were made by just playing around with the building tools. I started messing with the settings to see what settings do what. After a while, I got tried of doing that so, I got on Google, and started learning about building, but after I started searching, I realized that there is really a great deal of information to building an item. I also found information for a lot of other things that are in second life.

Second Life seems to be a virtual world, which you could pretty much do anything. There are things you can't do in Second Life as well. Second Life is a great game, in my opinion, due to a number of factors. Some of examples of these are, constantly changing world in real time, being able to build anything, a variety of jobs, and lots to learn.

You can fly, build, sell, play games, have a job and make real money. There is a stock market, casinos, free money give-aways, Concerts, Malls, Parks, Famous Landmarks (or cities), and much more. I have been to New York and saw the Twin Towers, I been to Paris and Saw the Effel Tower. There sure is a real big number of place and things to do and discover, and so little time.

I figure it is going to take about a year to learn only some of the things, that I can discover/ or do in Second Life. The next thing I want to get into this Year 2007 is scripting, and putting scripts in items. There are array of scripts out there that you can get that are already made, but I figure that, I should learn it anyway.

I think that knowing the LSL code is really handy, so then you know, how a object does what it does. It would be really useful, if you know the code, because there are jobs in Second Life for people that know how to make a few scripts, put those scripts in one script. By integration. I would like to get there to that point, but I am just learning.

My Experiences in Second Life

Hello to all Second Lifers'. This is my first blog. I will try to make this blog informative, but yet simple. I'm going to be talking about my experiences in Second Life.

First off, my name in Second Life is Mikemmax Benford. I signed up as a resident of Second Life in May 2006, but I wasn't able to use this game (If you would like to call it that):), until in December 2006. Due to lack of computer requirements. So, in reality, I've only been playing for almost a month. I decided to make a blog to go over my experiences, since I started playing. If I don't make this I might forget all the stuff I saw, and have done in Second Life. lol

To my knowledge, Second Life is a enormously vast world with lots and lots to discover and learn. Since playing, I have found that I have been dancing a lot or sitting to make Lindens (Money). People that sign up have made some wierd and interesting items from scratch. These items range randomly from invisible items that your AV (avatar) can wear, to houses (or businesses) that are 768 meters high. Some of these items are really amazing.

Residents of Second Life build some very exciting and fun places. I been to some of these places in Second Life that will make you ask yourself, how did they do that? Some things, this great game can be is a money maker, teaching tool, or just some fun to do.
